FAQ’s

Finding the right stairlift For You?

Frequently Asked Questions / Buying Guide If you have a question about stairlifts, view our handy guide down below. Whether your question is about renting or buying, straight or curved, new or reconditioned, we aim to get it answered!

Leodis will help and advise you at any time. Why not contact our friendly Sales Team on 0800 5426045 if you need a little reassurance or have more questions.

How and when do I pay for my stairlift?
We ask for a small non-refundable deposit of £150 upon ordering. This can be paid by BACS, cheque or a debit/credit cards. The balance is then payable once we’ve completed the installation and you have your lift in perfect working order.
Can stairlifts go around corners?
Absolutely! Stairlifts can go around corners. Curved stairlifts are used when your staircase is constructed with one or more bends. Curved tracks can be used and fitted bespoke to your staircase, no matter how many corners there are!

Curved stairlifts can be fitted new or reconditioned, and they’re available to both purchase and as a rental. Even more complex staircases can be tackled. For example, with spiral staircases we use a ‘freecurve’ staircase to effortlessly moved along the constantly bending track. If you still have questions you can visit the page linked above or give us a call today to learn more.

What do I do when I need a new carpet?
If you’re planning on fitting a new carpet and stairlift, do the carpet first. If that’s not possible, we can remove and then reinstall your stairlift, but there will be a charge.
How long will I have to wait for my stairlift?
We can usually install your stairlift within days, and often within 24 hours of ordering.
