Fundraising for Dogs Trust Leeds – Proud to Support Dogs Trust
Over the past four years, we have been fundraising for Dogs Trust Leeds, and as a team of pet lovers, it’s a charity very close to our hearts.
Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. Through their network of 21 rehoming centres across the UK and one in Ireland, they care for over 14,000 stray, unwanted, and abandoned dogs each year.
Following our latest Annual Fundraising Golf Day, we’re proud to announce that we raised £10,000.00 for Dogs Trust in 2024.
Our annual donations help the team provide the very best care for many stray and abandoned dogs. These funds contribute towards vet fees, equipment, bedding, and the maintenance of the rehoming centre.
We are passionate about supporting Dogs Trust and will continue to do so through our Golf Day Fundraiser, held every August with all donations going directly to Dogs Trust Leeds.

“As a lover of animals, over the last few years I’ve had the privilege of taking on four rescue dogs and two kittens.
Taking on rescues is a challenge – but a challenge well worth doing. The immense pride you feel watching them transform from being terrified, biting every hand that goes near them, cowering from everyone and everything, flinching at bright lights and loud noises – to becoming confident and sometimes demanding individuals – is second to none.
All of my animals have had their place on the Leodis Facebook page, and I was so proud when I could take Rosie – our ex-puppy farm breeder King Charles Spaniel – to Dogs Trust Leeds to present the fundraising cheque from Leodis in celebration of the company’s 30th anniversary. She even got to spend the day in the office with me and my colleagues.
Animals are for life, not just for the moment. When they’re cared for properly and shown genuine love and affection, they blossom – and give that love back tenfold. None of them deserves to be abused or abandoned. So to all the rescues out there, I personally say thank you.”

We’re over the moon to announce that at this year’s Annual Golf Day, we beat our previous total and raised a fantastic £6,210 for Dogs Trust Leeds.
Every year, our Managing Director, Martin Brown, organises the annual golfing fundraiser – inviting colleagues, friends, and family to take part. This year’s event was held at Romanby Golf & Country Club in Northallerton.
