Gone are the days of needing to pre-order your curved stairlift and it taking 3 weeks for the track to be manufactured.

One of the leading stairlift manufacturers has developed a modular track for their curved stairlifts that piece together on site giving more flexibility for the engineer to create a beautiful stairlift bespoke to your home and your specific requirements.

To request your FREE home survey, please call us on 0800 542 6045.

The Leodis Curved Stairlift ticks a lot of boxes when it comes to curved stairlifts. The track is manufactured in pieces that cleverly join together to create all manner of configurations. As with all stairlifts nowadays, the track is sited directly onto the staircase, meaning very little mess during installation and less work to do for the homeowner when the stairlift is no longer required. The modular track sweeps and dips to hug the contours of the staircase and the slim nature of the single rail enables other stair users plenty of safe access to the stairs.

A free, no obligation home survey is essential so we can measure the staircase and pass on our advice to the customer and they are encouraged to tell our Engineer what they require from their stairlift ie. where they want it to stop; will it be suitable for long term; do they require any powered options etc. Having been established since 1991 and being one of the leading suppliers of curved stairlifts in the North of England, we have seen all manner of staircase configurations and can advise using our wealth of knowledge and experience.

When the customer wants a little more from their stairlift the Leodis Curved Stairlift comes into its own. For Leodis Stairlifts Ltd it’s not just about getting our customers up and down the stairs. We want our customers to get on and off their stairlifts exactly where they need to and with this curved stairlift we are able to add a run on. This allows the user to sweep around the bannister at the top of the stairs and continue their journey across the landing to their bedroom door or wherever they wish to alight/align. At the end of the track will be a charge point and, when not in use, the stairlift seat can be folded neatly away whilst the batteries charge effectively.

At the bottom of the stairs there may be a door into another room and so, space allowing, the stairlift track curves around the bottom newel post and out of the way, this is called a bottom wrap. Again there is a charge point present where the stairlift will sit and recharge until needed again. The seat and arms fold up neatly so the carriage and seat take up very little space. The flexibility of this stairlift is such that should a bottom wrap or standard finish not be possible then we can install a hinge, this will lift automatically as the stairlift travels.

Unlike pre-manufactured tracks, this curved stairlift track is joined together on-site in the customers home, this is ideal for the customer as it means installation can take place very quickly after the home survey, often as soon as the very next day. It also enables our customers to pay only on completion rather than pay an initial deposit. The installation itself will take around 4-5 hours and there is very little mess during installation, our friendly Engineer will leave your home as he found it!
